EVEN THE BIRDS????

The story I'm about to tell you is 100 percent true. It happened sometime last week and for whatever reason being, it didn't get the press it deserved.

A young 8Th grade girl was taking a tour of Fenway park.
Suddenly she was attacked by a RED tailed hawk. Already this is a strange occur of events. But wait, it gets even weirder. This girls name was ALEXa RODRIGUEZ. Its got to be a coincidence right? But hold on theirs more. She was 13 years old........which is Alex Rodriguez's jersey number................If you just got the chills your not alone , because this story really freaked me out.
Is this a bad omen for A-Rod this year? What will transpire this season at Fenway park between A-Rod and the Sox? Or are even the birds in Fenway Drunk college frat boys trying to pick a fight with whoever they see ;)

your comments on the yankees opening series were pretty good.
The yankees offense will bring them to the playoffs if there pitching isnt good enough anyway but the playoffs really comes down to how good these young guys are bec if they are good and joba stays in the pen those innings he will give you have so much impact its amazing

I AGREE. JOBA AND MO ARE REALLY STARTING STRONG AND IF THEY CONTINUE THAT WILL CONTRIBUTE A TON BECAUSE THOSE ONE RUN GAMES COME BY OFTEN AND IF WE COULD LOCK THOSE UP WE WOULD BE IN GOOD SHAPE.

BESIDES THE YOUNG GUYS GOT TO GET THE JITTERS OUT OF THE WAY WITH ALL THE HYPE THEY DREW THIS SPRING IM SURE THEY WILL DO JUST FINE AND MUSSINA IS PITCHING LIKE HES 30 AGAIN SO ONCE THE OFFENSE PICKS UP WE SHOULD BE IN FOR A GREAT YR.

Ralph, one thing on joba....
i'm under the assumtion that you like joba as a releiver...truth is whats not to like...but im telling you now just like i said then..he is a DOMINANT STARTER... let me ask you this.....should the red sox make bekett into a GREAT releiver or should the padres turn Peavy into a sick closer when hoffman is gone...the obvios answer is NO effin way. same by joba. Just bec hes a sick releiver doesnt mean you keep him there?????

SAM YOUR RIGHT BUT YOU GOT TO UNDERSTAND SOMETHING..IF THINGS START TO FLOW WITH THE STARTING PITCHING ROTATION WE HAVE WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO BRING HIM TO THE STARTING ROLE?

SAM LETS NOT FORGET...MO WAS BROUGHT UP IN THE FARM SYSTEM AS A STARTER AND WHEN HE FINALLY CAM TO THE BRONX HE WAS A SET UP MAN AND LOOK WHERE THAT ROLE TOOK HIM. MORE THEN THAT IF YOU LOOK AT MO HE CANT HANDLE MORE THEN TWO INNINGS OF WORK AND IF HE DOES HE IS NOT AS DYNAMIC. SO IF YOU CONVERT JOBA TO THE STARTING ROLE NOT ONLY DO I NOT THINK HE WILL BE AS EFFECTIVE BUT I ALSO THINK YOU ARE MESSING AROUND WITH A POSSIBLE MO LIKE TYPE CLOSER FOR THE FUTURE WHEN MO NO LONGER IS IN THE LEAGUE.

BESIDES FOR ANOTHER GREAT FACT.

YOU ARE BASING JOBA TO BE A GREAT STARTER ON THE WAY HE IS PITCHING NOW OUT OF THE BULLPEN. THEN YOU ARE COMPARING HIM TO GUYS WHO PROVED THEMSELVES AS A STARTER LIKE BEKETT. BUT IF YOU COMPARE APPLES TO APPLES THEN LOOK AT WHAT THE RED SOX DID WITH PAPELBON. HE WAS SUPPOSTO BE A STARTER AND HE TURNED OUT TO BE A SICK CLOSER FOR THEM AND CAME UP HUGE IN THE PLAYOFFS.

SO I THINK THE YANKEES ARE DOING RIGHT WITH JOBA.

Ralph, im bassing it on his success in the minors not off his success in the pen......Thats all we have to go by now.....and we converted him to a releiver. you have it all wrong
