Girardi Dons #27

The fact that Girardi is wearing number 27 makes me giddy. This number with out a doubt in my mind no matter what anybody says is to show the world he wants that highly covetted 27th title, And that he thinks hes going to bring the championship back where in belongs. Right here in New York. Way to go Joe I like where your heads at.......

The Importance Of MO

The yankees cannot afford to lose probably their most powerfull weapon over the last 10 years. Bottom line is that without Mo who knows where the franchise would be .(probably still with only 22 titles) Im going to make this post short and sweet. If Mo wants the world you give it to him, Whatever it takes.

If I was the GM

For all you people who think That The baseball season doesent start for another 6 months I couldent disagree with you more.
Hot stove is where it all begins. everybody speculates where everybody is going to end up and how there team should address there problems.
Well If I were Gm this is where I begin. I package Wang and Abreu and any non pitching prospect to the Twins for JOHAN. The yankees would probably have to pay most of abreu's salary but to be honest who the hell cares your getting Johan. This makes sense for Min bec they know santana is going to walk after the season and they mine as well get a stud young pitcher in wang.Abreu would make up for the bat of Hunter,
With that being said the Yanks Desperatley need A right Hand power bat.
After Disscusions with many people I think you got to go after Andrew Jones< It was recently brought to my attention thanks to MAX NESSER (mlbtransactions.com)That on andrews worst possible year He still was if not the same but better than Rowand and Hunter on there career year. Its a no brainer.
Im assuming pettitte will be back, Now the rotation looks like this
1-Johan 2-Joba 3-Pettite 4-Hughes 5-kennedy now thats mouth watering.
granted we need bullpen help even after assuming Mo will be back. which means we go all out for cordero(i think hes available)As for third base this is a very touchy thing. Personally I am interested in a couple of people that nobody seams to be mentioning. Joe Crede (even after back surgery) Morgan ensberg even though hes very inconsistent. These 2 guys have 30 hr power potential and are solid defensivley esspecially Crede. But I wouldent be against Lowell Or even if they can swing a deal for scott rolen for Damon or even a guy like Edwin Encarnacion.

Its going to be a fun Hot stove this year. I just hope that cashman dosent screw it up

Life without A-Rod

now that the dust is starting to settle and we can look at the yankee situation with out arod Im pretty confident to say that next year is going to have the late 90's feel. Ever since the yanx signed Moose (it was a great signing)they have been obsessed with bringing the best guy available to the team .can you blame them?? whether it was giambi or sheffield ,Matsui, Randy,Abreu, etc... the list keeps going. As a yankee fan you get excited when you see them bringing in one big name after the next..Now that we FINALLY realize that you dont win with a good team on paper, You always win (with a couple of exeptions )when you have a groupe of youth from the system with a sprinkle here and there of a veteran. Thats what always works.Just look at the the past 10 years with exception to the 2001 d-backs that was the combo that won.
Im confident that the new Yankee facelifted team which is injected with a refreshing youthfull core and veteran here and there(its a bonus if there from our system)I think that is the recipe for success .
The New yankee team is reminicent to the Old yankee team. The yankee team the won,the yankee team that almost every team tries to modell them self after.

ALL I have to say is its about damn time.

Girardi the next yankee skipper

Finally some good news in yankees camp.Reports are stating that the yanx have offered girardi the job,Details werent stated.

I love this move and everything about it. This ensures Mariano and posada (I think).
posadas former mentor and mo's former battery mate.

Tony pena said that he would gladly take on a bench coach gig which is also a positive thing.
I hope bowa follows in his direction.as for Kevin Long It makes no difference to me.

A dark day for the yanx

The red Sox aren't only a win now team.suddenly their a youthful talented juggernaut. As a Yankee fan I'm literally frightened to play in the same division as this almost dynasty bosox club.HEY HANK HEY HAL WAKE UP.Its time for a monster off season otherwise its going to be a long 2008 campaign.

A-ROD=A-HOLE

A-rod just did the stupidest thing possible.Obviously a-rod isn't as interested in winning as he says.cause the Yanx are the best situation to win on a year in year out basis. Hes a money hungry animal.Even if the Yanx for whatever reason sign him I official turned from the biggest a-rod supporter to the biggest a-rod hater.Screw you a-rod I hope you sign with whatever team is willing to pay you your lunch money.and bat a .111 in the playoffs for them...A-ROD I HATE YOU your a fake a fraud and just a degenerate no good scumbag.....................
