I know that half of the things I'm about to ask for probably will not happen, either cause Cashman sometimes is just flat out stupid or because its just not practical but here goes.
#1, Bring back Andy. No matter what it takes. If you have to spend the holidays with him (Theo style)then go for it.
#2, Bring back Louis Vizciano even if its going to cost more than it should.(we all know how hard it is to find a decent reliever.)
#3, sign a top flight reliever. I would have loved Linebrink or Cordero but i will settle for Dotel.
#4, Swing a blockbuster trade. Either something like Kennedy, Melky and Tobbata/Jackson for Peavy and Adrian Gonzalez.
or the current trade that everybody is buzzing about for Johan.(if the Yanx add a Cy young type stud pitcher to the rotation it can do wonders to the team.
#5, Sign a big bat center fielder. I want Andrew Jones.(as i already stated that on andrews worst year he still put up comparable stats to Rowand and Hunter who had career years.)
now that hunter is off the market. If the yanks cant get Jones i will settle for Rowand.
I think that covers every aspect of the team. If all this goes down, then we are improving our starting rotation our bullpen and our everyday line up and our bench becomes outstanding.
Every one of these moves are all feasible. none of them are out of the realm of possibility.

Sam #1 you should have asked brian for these things as a wedding present. #2 the pictures have been great but you couldnt find a picture of hanaka Harry for your jewish friends.
i dont think rowand is that great. i wouldnt get him if they cant get jones. i dont love dotel either he is to injury prone and i dont think will be elite anymore. Everything else i like.

in an ordinary year, Melky can almost be rowand (Last year was a fluke for rowand): .280, 15-20 homers, great defense.
Aside for johan that miggy cabrera move would be first on my list.

Santana will be 29 opening day.
Cabrera will just turn 25 in april.
The guy has hit like a monster at such a young age, with josh willingham protecting him.

I did address the first base issue. if the yanx pull off that peavy deal,Gonzalez is sick.
and Dotel is the best available right now. Even if hes injurie prone there is nobody else. unless the white sox are really shopping Bobby Jenks.

I like the platoon of Duncan, Giambi, and Phillips at 1B. They don't need Mienkievicz back.
Wilson is a good backup, and so is Molina.
There is going to be some tension this season in the outfield because Melky is the projected CF, Abreu in RF, and Damon in LF. Matsui is slated to be the DH.
That leaves Giambi on the bench/1B.
If they trade for a 1B, they need to either trade an outfielder or Shelly Duncan.

maybe trading damon is the best idea. after his good playoffs he still has value. then you can keep matsui in left and melky in center. persanoly i would trade any of those guys meaning Damon, melky, duncan,giambi.
