As a Jets fan , This coming up Superbowl puts me in a lose lose situation. I hate the Patriots with a passion but at the same time I'm no fan of the Giants either. Not really because of the giants themselves but more because of the fans. I know its nothing like the Yankee Mets rivalry But still I encounter enough Giants fans on a daily basis which rub it in my face that the jets suck and the Giants are awesome. Even though its against everything i stand for to route for the Pats not only because they are in the same division as the Jets and not only cause the whole Bellicheck situation and on top of all of that they are a Boston team. I still think I rather The Patriots win than the Giants . Based on the sole reason of me not wanting to deal with all the Giants Fans Rubbing it in my face every single day. Plus I'm already used to the fact that the Pats Win Every year now and the Jets just outright Suck. I never encounter Patriots fans which makes life a whole lot easier. Though Its going to be tough to do ...But I rather the Patriots win......Let Me rephrase that.....I rather the Giants Lose.

sam if you want the giants to lose more than the pats than you are not a true die hard jets fan...if you are going to put a city rival ahead of a division rival who has screwed us to oblivion...then i am "calling you out on your manhood" lol
there is no rival and anger between jets and giants fans like there is with mets/yanks...i dont mind if ezra tawil is happy this will never become like mets/yankees...
and i might go so far as to say if the yankees played the braves/phillies in the world series i might have to borrow your hat..im not sold on that yet so dont hold it against me...but i am leading towards it...i think id just bury myslef for a week and then come back to life...

You dont seem to understand. I AM NOT ROOTING FOR THE PATS. The outcome of this game is going to pain me either way. just read the title of the post.. "LOSE LOSE SITUATION" if the pats win i will be upset but if the giants win i will also be upset.(as a fan a little less upset) but it would affect my everyday life more than if the pats would win.Hence the reason i would rather the giants lose. (note that i didnt just say pats win)

one thing i see is that sam you are not used to being the underdog...as a yankee fan you are always used to being on top and therefore you dont know how to dodge bullets when people come up to you saying your team sucks and mine is better and you yourself know it..
however me as a mets fan have been dealing with this my whole life...so if the g-men win i wont have any problem with the giants fans....

Max s, You couldnt be more wrong, Its easy to take the giants on this one because they are perfect kind of team to pick for an upset. Remember when the pats took on the "THE BEST SHOW ON TURF" RAMS. they were a 13 and a half underdog as well and look what they went on to do. So im not taking the high road here.
