THE MITCHELL REPORT

This is more or less the list from the Mitchell report. Some names are no surprises and some names are irrelevant. But there are some really crazy out of the blue names that i would have never known. (I highlighted the standouts in red,)
Remember that the list is not yet complete. There probably will be some more high profile names still to come. As the new names are released I will update the list.
I want everybody to keep in mind that just because a name is on the list it doesn't mean that your guilty. A player is only guilty if there is concrete evidence against him. The repercussions of the list are still to be determined.

this is a link to the entire report http://files.mlb.com/mitchrpt.pdf its a good read if you have the patience. I would love to hear your thoughts on the list.

Andy petitte is the one that everyone is going to talk about. Clemens i dont think is a big surprise. I guess clemens introduced it to pettite when they started working out together. The thing im curios about is when do you think clemens stoped taking it.

This is just another story that shows baseball is an all year around sport.
AROD tried to take the stage away from the world series now he tried to do it again but this time it didnt work. SAM and AVI I feel bad you have to live with him for 10 more years Knowing you hate him. He is the best player and will put up great numbers but just wait till october. You guys cant defend him. By the WAY sammy can i have your Arod jersey being that you will never wear it again.

3 things

1.The Rangers have signed free-agent 2B-3B Edgardo Alfonzo to a minor-league contract.

Alfonzo has not played in the majors since 2006.

2.At the Hardball Times, Dave Studeman writes, using a variety of statistics, that Jose Reyes should not ‘hit more balls on the ground,’ as so many people suggest, since, ‘The guy is a line drive hitter.’

3. Brian Schneider talks with the blog about dealing with the media; how he heard about the trade; how he would rather win a ring than hit 30 home runs; and his goal for next season, on which he says…

“My goal this year is, obviously, to make sure that (what happened to the Mets last season) does not happen again and get us into the postseason. Hopefully, go as far as we can go. And, Win The Championship. I am getting that opportunity right away. So, I am happy to have it and hope to take advantage of it.”

Be on the look out for a possible missing GM.........

Name: Omar

AKA: In Omar we trust

Description: Gunslinger never afraid to go after the big fish free agent or pull off a trade....

Warning: Possible impostor sightings several times in Flushing and Nashville heard saying something to the effect that I'm satisfied with the guys I have

Clues: Ransom note may have been sent to several thousand close friends requesting a 20% payment

Suspect: AKA Freddy Coupon and his accomplice tight pursue strings

Other Possibilities: If not being held down by the suspect and his evil henchmen then possibly suffering from PTSD after the "07" collapse and several Bad trades

abie i almost forgot to tell you not signing loduca has nothing to do with the roids. they didnt sign him bec he sucks 1.he doesnt hit for average 2. he doesnt hit for power 3.he isnt fast 4.he is terrible defensavly aside for the fact he is a womanizer and a hot head. and he is getting old.
So why would you sign him with Castro and Estrada i was fine. i dont realy know about Shneider
