SAM I AM'S VIEW ON ROIDS

Now that the smoke is beginning to clear and things are simmering down from the "Mitchell Report" .

I would like to give you my views on the whole steroid and performance enhancing drug scandal.

In my honest opinion i think at least 80 percent of the league is on something was on something and always will be on something. as long as theres a way to gain an advantage an advantage will be gained. legal or not but its sad to say but all they want is that one big contract then they will be satisfied.I'm not saying that I wouldn't do it myself if I were in there shoes. Think about it would you???be honest with yourself.

The players are always going to be 3 steps ahead of the league theres always going to be something that the league wont know about for example the league is testing for roids so the players were on HGH and guess what the league is still having trouble detecting it.its a never ending revolving door. There isn't a player in the entire MLB that i don't suspect . from Derek Jeter to Jose Reyes. And to tell you the truth I'm not so against it. It should be legalized. It should be USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. It doesn't affect the fans. all it does is make the game more enjoyable to watch. If all the players are better than the game is better. but thats just my opinion (not a very popular one )

I'm going to start up the hot stove reports soon i promise but first i would like to discuss the topic.

i happen to agree with the legalizing them. otherwise this is going to end up being an on going thing for years and years. I am sure a lot more people are coming out as time goes on.
i dont think its 80% of the league doing it. If its 50% then its a lot.
I heard Max n had some steroid use. word around was it was for his injured wrist. but i heard from my belly dancer friend He took some stuff so he can keep up with her moves. So it wasnt sports related

sam i couldn't agree with you more. if the players want to kill themselves or shrink their testicles- go right ahead. just hit me my two homers off of pedro first and i'm happy.

i was aproached five times in shul on shabbat about these roids someones spreading a nasty rumor

maxsutton said...

is it a rumor or is it really true bec bobby morabia told me he would erase all your stats from this year if its true. and he would have to suspend you for the first 3 games of the coming ymsl season.
Max N if you know they wont catch you dont stop. but you can always let your blog buddies know the truth. we know all about your private life anyway so just tell us the real truth DID YOU SHOOT UP WITH THE ROIDS.

if i cant hit the ball past shortstop this year you'll know

from rotoworld: funny-

According to the St. Petersburg Times, another woman has asked a judge to protect her from Elijah Dukes, saying he sent her threatening text messages.

Can't we just make it mandatory that all women are protected from Dukes?

maxsutton said...

im not saying you would have been like a jason grimsley a guy who wouldnt of been in the majors with out it.
You would be able to hit but would of hit that far. I will be watching the distance of your shots this year but then again if you dont stop taking them nothing will change. This is all ofcourse assuming your wrist is back to normal What is the statis on your wrist now anyway?

maxsutton said...

i was thinking that as much as i hate glavine and im happy the mets didnt resign him. I dont know the statis of the braves staff but if all he has to be is a 3rd or 4rth starter he can really help them a lot. bec he does eat up innings and will probably win 10 games. for a 4rth starter this day and age that is pretty good.
Then again if they are counting on him being a big time guy they are in trouble. But knowing the mets no matter what kind of year glavine is having he will shut them down. For some reason the mets cant hit really young rookies and really old veterans.

abie where are you? if your not on the blog where can you be? Is everything ok?
I know it happened on the week end but can you beleive that bedard trade. i have to admit i dont know much about the other teams farm systyms but did they give up good stuff for bedard or can i continue cursing Omar for doing nothing with the Chips he has.

abie said...

i think that even though the players will always try and be a step ahead of the testing done my mlb... that they should still try to knock it out of baseball...

becuz the more media this gets the more pressure the US gov't has to step in and maybe end or at least monitor the creation of steroids and leave it to medical purposes only ..like marijuana..

im srry i included marijuana here and i know many people will now comment on it...who has glaucoma...

anyway this can be a way to monitor it ...i think that this can be done and baseball more then the other sports wants to get rid of it more becuz it has put a huge black eye on the game more then even the nfl...and it will come to an end...

i just hope that the NEW commissioner of baseball can handle it... lol

SAM I AM said...

you mean haren not bedard

abie said...

BEDARD DIDNT GET TRADED HAREN DID!!!!!

abie said...

btw... the dbacks are now the fav in the nl!!

maxsutton said...

Hi abie missed you

SAM I AM said...

haha abie i beat you to it

abie said...

mwah!..anyway im going bowling with max and the twins if u want to come fadal! cya at the lanes!

maxsutton said...

yes i am SORRY I MEANT HAREN NOT bedard. but its good to know everyone is reading. either wa crazy trade

maxsutton said...

Abie send Johan, joe nathan and company my best

abie said...

if this is what it takes to get a trade done this offseason...trading 6 top prospects for a pitcher..then im not for it....one gm scout sad that the 6 guys the dbacks gave up are far greater then the mets offering...
fmart,gomez,pelfrey,humber,mulvey,guerra...so dont trade the farm system and keep it the way it is....

that being said the mets have increased their prices again this year..and in the past 4 years i have purchased 7 packs this year i will not..it is getting ridiculous and i will buy my tix on ebay this year...becuz people think that mets season tix are a good invest ment and their not you could get feild box tix on ebay for 60 bux for 2 tix the week b4 a game... so go mets

heres how Jp shwartz of topp propsects reports ranks the mets prospects

* OF Fernando Martinez
* RHP Deolis Guerra
* OF Carlos Gomez
* RHP Kevin Mulvey
* RHP Eddie Kunz
* RHP Philip Humber
* LHP Jon Niese
* 1B Mike Carp
* 1B Nick Evans
* RHP Joe Smith

maxsutton said...

i here your point abie not sure if i agree. i have to think about it.
Seeing Pelfrey smith and gomez perform a little already makes me think not like your saying . nobody realy impressed me but i hope i am wrong

abie said...

the matt wise signing is tremendous...now heilman can be pushed to the starting rotation...with wise, feliciano,duaner,schoenweiss,wagner,sosa,elduque in the bullpen and pedro,heilman,perez,maine and pelfrey starting...i like it...now with the 8 starters and include castro,easley marlon,endy....thats 12 + 12 we ahve one more slot...maybe gotay...maybe add a player like mench or jenkins...look sgood

I think sammy is on steroids or maybe his stomach, maybe its esther's cooking!! 1 month and he is a hoosh!

as for Clemens, I called it out years ago, and Sammy wants this guy and his legacy in monument park!

fyi, Clemens had 194 wins as the last 4 years of his career he averaged 10 wins a year and a era close to 3.6-4. That is high for that time, until he went to Toronto after Duquette added that he is in the twighlight of his career---and found himself under 500 after 10 starts to suddenly turn his game around and win 20 games and become cy young for 2 straight years. He has accumilated 150 million bucks since then, because of his great use of the roids as well as become the Hall of fame and legendary pitcher he was known as. A pitcher who gets better with age...sounds normal, well because they are all on it!
maddux, Glavine (i hate his guts hope he dies in firey crash!) , even smoltz...all users...wagner, gagne, nathan...all those amazing pitchers...

you can make a case in point about baseball that the playing feild is even because hitters were on goods as well...so the picthers needed to even the score.

baseball is forever scared from this, and Max, no way will they legalize any substance..even that crap found in McGwire's locker which can be found at GNC became banned. Remember that Fat pitcher from Baltimore who mooted? Steroids and substances.

more names will come out from other lists, and more guys are admitting to the usage, which in turn makes everything Ramdomski and Mcnamee said worth believing!

Nuff said...i dig this blog!

stefan

stef its great to have you aboard
but you must admit to me, if Clemens was traded to the mets and won you 2 championships and one of them was against the yanx and hit jeter in the head then threw a bat at him in the series. then later in his career was suspected for roids you would still love him.
I know it you know it and so does everybody else

maxsutton said...

Hello stef its good to have you aboard.
I heard that brian Roberts admited to roid use. this is only one admitance of many more coming

Ian Kennedy: 2 times
Matt DeSalvo: 2 times
Kei Igawa: 2 times
Carl Pavano: 1 time
Tyler Clippard: 1 time

maxsutton said...

abie the most amazing thing of that list of yankees is that CARL PAVANO actually pitched a game into the 6th. But now i remember the game. Sam thought he was awsome but he gave up 4 runs. Its like when he thinks Moose does well bec he only had one bad inning. Bottom line is 4 runs is 4 runs

SAM I AM said...

Max if you watched the game you would have agreed with me the guy looked unhittable I think it was against seatle. OH BTW Moose is awesome (sometimes)

abie said...

first of all max sutton you can not write in caps lock only ralph can...btw where is ralph...second..pavano and moose suck... the yankees have wasted 100 million combined from 05 through 08 on these guys(thats 4 years 05 06 07 08)

yanx321 said...

Tyler Clippard for MVP!!

maxsutton said...

Ed coleman was on the fan a couple of nights ago and he said even after the wise signing that he thinks its doubtful that heilman will be in the starting rotation. i hope he is wrong. they are crazy if they dont do it. also bec he wasnt that great in big spots out of the pen.

maxsutton said...

David who are you? you took the words out of my mouth. it was either him or Phil humber

abie said...

go to ruinromo.com since jessica simpson distracted him at his last game they created a print out cut out of her face just paste to a popsicle stick and bring to the game and your team will win...

yanx321 said...

they call me Faham

maxsutton said...

Thats not a bad idea stef i would put prior in the pen and maybe it will keep him healthy. dont worry im sure Kohab will understand.

SAM I AM said...

Hey Faham whats up? its nice to have you on my blog. it gives me a warm fuzzy fealing.

And stef I agree with you on prior and johan. not only the mets, every team should be trying to make a push for these guys .whatever it it takes.
on prior its low risk high reward it makes so much sense for the mets to sign him to a 2 year deal worth 3.5 mill

SAM I AM said...

Take what you said about kohab back NOW. hes my hero

maxsutton said...

Kohab should be everybodies hero. i am trying to start a petition

wow...this is a defentely amazin!!

anyteam that says they dont need a Santana are fools. He is by far the best in the game, and by pitching to 7-8-9 everyday in the NL lineups he will lose a point in ERA and win more games...thats if Billy the Bitch dont ruin it for him!
