A dark day for the yanx
The red Sox aren't only a win now team.suddenly their a youthful talented juggernaut. As a Yankee fan I'm literally frightened to play in the same division as this almost dynasty bosox club.HEY HANK HEY HAL WAKE UP.Its time for a monster off season otherwise its going to be a long 2008 campaign.

i cant beleive i am posting my comment before abie his computer must be broken bec i cant think of anything else he would be doing in the baseball offseason the jets are definately not worth talking about. But i will give the jets one thing atleast they didnt give us any hope like the mets did. so it doesnt hurt as much. last point on the jets if penningtons career is done as a jet you cant call hin succesful. i love him but they never did enough with him there Vinnie testaverdie the old man with his his year he had in 98 alone makes him more succesful. I hope Clemens is good. i know he has an arm like roger but i hope he has more heart than him.
Sorry for the football detor but it is the season. Sammy i agree that those redsox will be good now and for a long time. The only reason i would be nervous is bec george is done. i dont know if his kids have what he had. Whether its endless spending or the wanting to win but i think every fan agrees there is a different feel now that he is gone. Just with the statment that was said last week that we arent in a hurry to win and its a process. i dont care if they did it to protect the new manager GEORGE would never ever say anything like that. With all that being said i still think the yankees will be fine.
If all the rumors about girardi are true they are already headed in the right direction. He is the perfect one for the job. ( NOT Mattingly)
Now about Arod Sam i know you are bitter and you are cursing him But if he signed with the yanks you would be singing his praises that he is the best player in baseball and you have to sign him.
i know the player has the final word but with BORAS as your agent it always comes down to MONEY. fOR ALL THE PEOPLE MAD About his timing that is also BORAS.
This year they made the playoffs bec of AROD. I hear both sides but bottom line i hope the Mets go after him. (i dont think that is going to happen)
Max Nesser mentioned a trade of Damon for Scott Rolen. First i said i would rather give up more and go after Cabrera from florida but he said no bec he is latin.
But truth, that Damon for rolen trade makes sense for both teams. I LIKE IT.
SAM i love the work you did on the site and great pictures. How did you get in the legends seat box with out getting kicked out. Great Job.
Last point someone told me they saw Max this past saturday night out with a very pretty Latin Girl. I am very confused Max.

2nd of all.Your 100% RIGHT I WOULD BE SINGING HIS PRAISES if he signed with the yanx,but he was a heartless coward and proved hes not a true yankee by admitting to the world that HE CANT HANDLE NY.I thought better of him but i judged his charicter incorrectly.

hey guys, i guess I set myself up with that Pena thing. I have told the damon rolen idea to some people and they all think it makes sense for both teams. they're both broken-ish and not worth their contracts. Rolen hates Larussa who just reesigned for three years. Damon is the yanks fourth outfielder after they pick up abreu's option, and arod just left us a big hole at third.
I would be happy with rolen's gold glove defense, and if you dh him, he might even hit 20 homers. Damon would play center in st. louis's dispicible outfield, and lead off cause eckstein walked. This deal makes so much sense that it won't happen!!!
another good trade: melky to cincy for edwin encarnacion. (maybe we could take dunn too and give them abreu and desalvo too.)

hey sam the yankees also have a good farm system and the only thing they nees now is some good veteran talent...so stop signing teh pavanos of the world get some veteran pitching that is not over 35 (mussina,pettite,clemens) andget a big bat (maybe arod) and tighten that bullpen and the redsox will be the one golfing in october!!!
thats a tall order but it will be done and we will hear pappi and manny scream out FOUR.
