Dont worry about Andy, he's no Arod
Recently Andy pettitte has declined his option for the 08 campaign. Yankee fans have nothing to worry about. He reiterated the fact that If he isn't coming back to NY then hes retiring. He said that all he needs is a little more time to decide if he has what it takes to put his body through the wear and tear of a full season.Last year he was in the same position and he came back. Lets just hope that the departure of Torre doesn't effect his decision.

Andy must come back so Moose will be able to fade away into the darkness. If he doesn't come back, all we have to fall back on in terms of experience, is Chin Mien Wang. I know he's been solid in the regular season but ahham(postseason). Pettite went 10-2 in the second half of last season.
The only way he can turn down 16 million big ones is if Roger pays him off to come home and spend their mornings riding horses in the Texas plains.
