THE CRUSHIN RUSSIAN

Kevin Kouzmanoff

The Padres have a third base prospect by the name of Chase Headley who may make Kevin Kouzmanoff a trading chip this off-season. If im the yankees i desperatley pursue him.
Would the Padres be interested in a package of Alan Horne, Kyle Farnsworth, Brett Gardner and a ton of cash (to pay for Farnsworth) in exchange for Kouzmanoff?
Maybe, or, maybe not? But, if the Yankees proposed a deal like that the Padres wouldnt see it as an insult - it would be a way to get negotiations going
Kevin Kouzmanoff will be turning 26-years old. He bats right and has pop. I understand that his defense at third is not great - but, he's not terrible either. The Yankees could do a lot worse at the hot corner next year than Kouzmanoff.
Maybe, instead of Alan Horne, Kyle Farnsworth, Brett Gardner and cash, it would cost the Yankees Tyler Clippard, Kyle Farnsworth, Josue Calzado, and cash for Kouzmanoff? If I'm the Yankees, I would have to consider that one too.
Heck, I'd even throw in Kei Igawa for free!
But, I'm not the G.M. of the team. It's up to Brian Cashman to try and work out these types of deals. The question is: Will he?
If im the yanks and im not getting Cabrera or Beltre Then I Definatley pursue this.

I agree with max on the pitchers.

About OBP., history shows that patience grows from experience. Probably has more upside than Crede.

I'm in the process of looking or internships and working on my future job prospects for when I graduate in May. Someone find out how I can get an internship for Brian. Maybe Costanza can hire me and I'll float some ideas past those Stienbrenners.
Don't worry Sam, you can be my right hand man. You'll then exercise power from within and use me in a puppet regime to get your way to the top.

Mike, you have no idea. I'm already scheming a way to take over the franchise.

I THINK THE YANKS SHOULD GET SAMMY SUTTON AN UNBELIEVABLE DEFENSIVE THIRD BASE MAN WHO HAS POP AND WILL MAKE THE FANS SAY A-WHO??

We're the Yankees. We have (and spend)all the money in the world. There's no reason in hell way we should have an everyday player like Kouzmanoff. He's just not good enough. MIGUEL CABRERA OR BUST!!

By the way it would take a complete IDIOT to move Cano to third base - It's not gonna happen. Then again Brian Cashman is the GM...
