Rumors are rumbling in the Bronx. yankee sources are reporting that the yankees are expressing interest in johan and cabrera.In order to get these players the yanx would have to give up a kings ransom. But out of all teams the yanx deffinatley have the chips to swing those deals.without giving up joba and hughes. For johan the yanx could easily package the likes of kennedy melky and tobata and minisota would for sure consider that. and for cabrera we could package something like A-jax, gardner and ohlendorf or whoever they want and they also would consider.If they would ask for joba or hughes we definatley must consider in the the johan deal for sure.

first, miguel cabrera hated girardi in florida so if u try and trade for him now good luck signing him long term...(hes a free agent after 08)kennedy melky and tabata is not enough for johan they can easily get better deals for the best pitcher in baseball...and im sorry but who is ajax? and those 3 middle "prospects" are no way near what florida can get for cabrera ...just look at what the braves gave for teixera..3 top prospects that they said were higher then the mets giving up pelfrey milledge humber and gomez...
so olendohrf and gardener is not nearly enough...u have to start thinking about the name cano ina deal for cabrera... these arent the old glory days of the late 90's and this isnt a guy that the marlins are trying to dump salary on he is a great talent and is making arbitration...so no stupid trade offers please....
and just so you know Andy Pettitte's decision on his $16 million player-option for 2008 is due by November 7th.... That's three days from today

I totallt agree with Abie on this one. Sam- you must be stuck somewhere in yankee fantasy dreamland. Come down to Earth buddy- Miguel Cabrera isn't coming for Ohlentdorf gardner and Jackson. Sorry.
As for Johan- I can easily see the Tigers offering a combo of Granderson, Camerin Maybin, Jeremy Bonderman, Adam Miller,and even Zumaya.
Abie you got a lot to say. But I agree with samiam yanks need this. And what do you expect from boris he's a very swift agent he reminds me of arlis michells from mmm (it was a show on hbo called arlis). Like samiam said a-rod is a piece of crap so what kind of agent you think he would get!!!
